I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year! I grew up in Carroll County and graduated from Bowdon High School in 1994. From there I attended the University of West Georgia where I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees. I have also obtained a reading endorsement and a TSS endorsement which allows me to mentor new and pre-service teachers. I have taught in Carroll County since August of 1998 and have experience in kindergarten, first, second and third grades. Second grade is definitely the best! In second grade we work hard to become better readers, writers and mathematicians and have a lot of fun in the process! I am the mother of three amazing daughters, Emily, Sarah Grace and Maddie. I am also Lala to a grandson, Finn, and a granddaughter, Libby. I enjoy traveling to the mountains and the beach, being involved in activities with Roopville Road Baptist Church, reading, creating things for my classroom and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to working with your family and can't wait for all the great things coming this year!
